About the Role
Peritum Partners is seeking an Associate to join its dynamic Intellectual Property team with a focus on advisory, prosecution, and opposition work.
Location
Chennai.
Practice Area
Intellectual Property — Prosecution, filing, and drafting of applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, file, and prosecute trademark, copyright, and patent applications.
- Liaise with outstation counsel, investors, and R&D teams to gather technical details, declarations, and supporting documents.
- Conduct preliminary IP due diligence and assist with formal verification and compliance review of patent applications before filing.
Requirements
- LL.B. degree from a recognized university.
- 1–2 years of relevant domain experience.
- Sound understanding of and interest in intellectual property law.
