Ballarpur Industries Limited (BILT) is a listed company. It is one of India’s established paper and paperboard manufacturing companies. BILT has a legacy spanning several decades. The Company manufactures and sells paper and paperboard. It also sells allied products. These cater to diverse industrial and commercial requirements. The Company underwent CIRP. It was successfully resolved by Finquest Financial Solutions Private Limited through an order of NCLT approving the resolution plan. The new management of BILT have taken necessary steps to turnaround the operations.

About the Job

The Assistant Legal Officer shall support the Legal Department of Ballarpur Industries Limited under supervision of Finquest Group. This role involves handling litigation, regulatory compliance, and contractual documentation. The officer will also manage corporate legal matters and advisory functions. These tasks ensure that BILT complies with applicable laws. It includes post-CIRP implementation obligations under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.

Job Title: Assistant Legal Officer

Eligibility

• Education: LL.B. (3 years or 5 years) from a recognized university.
• Experience: 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in corporate legal practice or in-house legal department, preferably in manufacturing or infrastructure sector. Exposure to litigation handling, contract drafting, and regulatory matters. Familiarity with IBC proceedings and corporate insolvency matters will be an added advantage.

Salary

Proposed Salary: INR 3 – 5 LPA CTC (as per experience & skills assessment)
