Centre for Social Justice (CSJ) is a socio-legal Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in India that works to advance the rights of marginalized communities through engagement with the judicial system. CSJ is among the first organisations in India to use legal processes as a tool for social justice and empowerment.

About the Programme

The Centre for Social Justice invites applications for the Young Professionals Programme for Legal Empowerment (YPPLE) 2026.

This is a 2-year immersive programme offering young professionals the opportunity to work closely with paralegals and lawyers engaged in social justice initiatives, while directly interacting with communities at the grassroots level.

• Hands-on grassroots engagement with field travel
• Mentorship from experienced leaders in social justice lawyering
• Opportunities for research, collaboration, and capacity building
• A multidisciplinary learning environment with peers from diverse fields

Eligibility

• Graduates and post-grgraduates from any discipline (especially Law, Management, Communications, Design, Art, and Journalism)
• Individuals interested in pursuing a career in social justice
• Willingness to engage with field realities
• Ability to travel extensively and work in challenging environments
