Eligibility Criteria & Preferred Qualifications

P&G is seeking an experienced, proactive attorney capable of operating independently. To be considered for this role, candidates should align with the following profile:

• Professional Experience: 3 to 7 years of experience working with a reputable law firm or within the legal department of a large multinational corporation.
• Industry Preference: Background in the Pharma or FMCG industry is highly preferred.
• Additional Qualifications: Candidates holding a Company Secretary (CS) qualification alongside their law degree will have a distinct advantage.
• Core Competencies: Strong commercial contracting skills, high integrity, and proven stakeholder management abilities. Experience advising on marketing/advertising laws and managing disputes is heavily preferred.

Key Responsibilities

The Legal Counsel will serve as a critical business partner to various units (Medical, Regulatory, HR, Sales, Marketing, R&D). Core duties include:

• Commercial Contracting: Drafting, vetting, negotiating, and executing commercial contracts across business development and commercial operations.
• Marketing & Advertising: Providing legal advice on go-to-market strategies, marketing initiatives, product communication, and promotional campaigns to ensure ethical compliance.
• Regulatory Compliance: Guiding the business on industry-specific laws, implementing FCPA/Anti-Bribery processes, and ensuring compliance with competition, labor, industrial, and environmental laws.
• Intellectual Property & Disputes: Supporting IP-related matters, managing cross-forum disputes, and overseeing external legal service providers.
• Government Relations: Collaborating closely with internal departments on public policy and government relations matters.
