Salary & Pay Scale
This position offers an elite remuneration package. Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of ₹92,960 – ₹1,36,520 (Equivalent to Civil Judge Junior Division), plus other applicable government allowances.
Eligibility Criteria & Experience Required
To be eligible for the Associate post, candidates must strictly fulfill the following criteria:
- Educational Qualification: A recognized Law degree from a recognized university.
- Experience (For Advocates): A minimum of 05 years of active practice as an Advocate before the Bombay High Court or its subordinate courts.
- Language Proficiency: Adequate knowledge of the Marathi language is mandatory.
- Technical Skills: Computer proficiency is required.
- Preferred Skills: Preference will be given to candidates possessing English shorthand skills (80 w.p.m.) and English typing skills (35 w.p.m.).
- Age Limit:
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 38 years (Open Category) / 43 years (Reserved Categories).
Selection Process
The Bombay High Court will conduct a stringent two-stage selection process:
- Written Test (100 Marks):
- General English: 30 Marks
- Legal Knowledge: 70 Marks
- Viva Voce (50 Marks): Oral interview assessing practical legal knowledge and court procedures.(Note: Candidates must secure a minimum of 50 qualifying marks to proceed).
