Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following criteria to be considered for the Research Associate position:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. degree obtained during the academic sessions 2024, 2025, or 2026 from a law college or university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
• Final Year Students: Candidates who have appeared in their final year LL.B. examination in 2026 and are currently awaiting their results are also fully eligible to apply.
• Minimum Marks Requirement: A minimum of 55% marks in the aggregate throughout the LL.B. examination is mandatory.
• Technical Skillset: A foundational working knowledge of computer applications, including data entry, word processing, and legal database operations, is required.

Key Responsibilities

Selected Research Associates will be attached to Hon’ble Judges and will handle responsibilities such as:

• Assisting the Court in extensive legal research and judicial work.
• Analyzing complex legal propositions, statutory updates, and constitutional mandates.
• Preparing case briefs, research notes, and proofreading draft judgments.
• Monitoring daily cause lists and keeping track of landmark precedents from the Supreme Court and various High Courts.
